Your source for yourBloopers tips!

Have you heard? Our newest contest is called yourBloopers. Well, now you have. This go-around, we're calling for the funny, the nutty, the goofy and the kooky. Are you game? Don't even act like you don't have photos that scream "blackmail!" If you don't enter 'em, someone else is sure to. Get a head start and, who knows, maybe your card will be making people laugh, chuckle and snort in stores all across the country next summer.

Hi Wordy,
I hope you and everyone at Hallmark had a very, Merry Christmas. I have a question, if I may.
I have finished my idea for the must-submit Humor birthday card and I understand that I may submit a second card, also. Am I safe to assume that the second card, such as a Wedding entry, is to also be a Humor card?
I, personally, love the idea of a humorous wedding card, but before I created the idea in my head, I wanted to be sure I was reading the rules correctly. If not, I'll write a more serious wedding card!

Thanks and Happy New Year.

Jill

Our good friend Wordy is still enjoying here fruitcake, so I wanted to be sure to reply since I'm holding the fort down here at Hallmark this week! Boy is it quiet here!

First of all, a very Happy Holidays to you and the whole crew as well!

Secondly... you're absolutely right about the "other" card being humorous as well. Can't wait to see your humorous take on weddings! The community (you guys) will be creating an ENTIRE HUMOR LINE of cards for next summer - pretty cool, huh? That's a lot of winners, too! We can't wait to see what comes in!

Best of luck to you and a very (almost) Happy New Year to all!

Hi KC,
Well, take it easy on the fruitcake and have a safe New Year's Eve, tomorrow night!
Thanks for your reply. I'll put the plans for my humor wedding card into full swing! I've written a lot of things over the years for weddings, but always of a serious nature and not humor. I'm excited about this!!!
Happy 2009, even if a few days early. After our tough 2008 of losing family members and hurricane damage, I can't wait to see '09!
