prize packets sent!

As part of the prize packet for the YourPets finalists, we are sending each person their own "flat" from the production work we did to turn their design into a real live card. We stamped them, signed them and sent them off to the Finalists with their prize money just the other day.

We think the flats are pretty fun to see. And really, are one-of-a-kind. Anyone in the country will be able to buy one of the Finalists' cards once they're printed, but only the Finalists themselves will have a copy of their pre-production flat.

If it were me who won, I'd frame it and smile each time I (or my pet) saw it. But then again, I'm a sucker for things like this.

Guess that's why I work here.

Hey judges! No pressure or anything, but now that the Funny card deadline has come and gone... I am wondering if you might drop us a bone (I am still fixated on the pet theme, obviously) or at least offer up a hint as to the general topic of the next competition?

Hi Everyone I am an odd ball because I have no Cat or dog. However, I was wondering how were the packages sent out? Us Mail, Fedex, or UPS. If they were sent via US Mail then hopefully my mail carrier does not put it in my mailbox, because then my Flat copy will be creased. Imagine I am a photographer and I flip out when photos are creased. I am so excited as soon as I receive it I am going to frame it right away. Thats a great Memory. Well Happy Voting

I covet those dogs.

The flats'll be coming in fancy little tubes via FedEx (no creasing!). And don't fret if you are a finalist and haven't gotten yours yet. Just learned that there was a hold up in the mailing process and they should go out in the next few days. Oops. Sorry to keep you waiting!

What a wonderful idea for a memento! I'm sure the winners will enjoy it!

I am Nestle's mom, my aunt submitted the winning card. I am in the printing business for advertising so I know how special a flat is... can not wait to frame it. Nestle is so proud to be a Hallmark Card... he tells everyone he meets about it!!
