What kind of hint is shoebox??? Couldn't you please tell us what holiday or subject the card should be about??? I hope we have more time too because now the ideas are coming for the pet birthday cards.....Will you be having any more pet card competitions????thanks
Since my husband doesn't see any humor in the fact that my shoeboxes take up the bottom of both our closets, I am having a hard time arriving at the intersection of the words funny and shoebox. Seriously... I am the one who originally posted a request for the next topic. Now that you have teased us a bit, I am even more curious. Please drop us another bone (obviously I am still stuck on the pet card) soon. Pleeeease?!?
"Shoebox Greetings" are "a tiny little division of Hallmark". Go check them out at the greeting card section of stores. They're all funny. As in "Ha ha - funny" :)
Ok, I think I got it. It's going to be a holiday Shoebox card! Since it's in March for entries, it could be something for a later holiday - maybe a MOTHER'S DAY card with an anything-goes concept? Digital art, photography??? Am I close? And if I guessed, do I win anything for guessing????
. . . 99 clever pet cards on the wall 99 clever pet cards . . . take one down and pass it around . . . 98 clever pet cards on the wall . . .
started at 7000 and i've been singing ever since . . . just wondering . . . did the "pet experts" expertly judge and help narrow it down to the infamous 67?
and yes, the thought of "funny" is a nice distraction from the anxiousness i'm feeling--BUT an update would be greatly appreciated!
The suspense is killing me. March 3 is too far away. My 4 yr old cat is nervous as a kitten, and I keep checking the blog for hints of the final 67. It's almost as addictive as Lost and the Oceanic 6! Dreams of fame, fortune, and the best part-- a trip to KC!
Now, another competition with March 3 again as the "reveal." Hm, how to pass the time? Maybe armed with the digital and snapping shots of the kids, the old folks? Stop the madness and throw us another hint.
The wait is DROOLING! I can hardly stay away from this website to see if my Misses has found anything out. Now, I just have to wait at the door and pray a FedEx man delivers a package. All in all, this has been great fun. A great competition for all pets. I'll keep my paws crossed and promise I won't bark at the FedEx man if I am lucky.
WOW---we love shoebox greeting cards---a bit off the wall at times, but good for a real belly laugh! My husband and I will be sitting around brainstorming for this competition and I have thousands of incredible pictures. So---let the games begin! Laughter is fantastic for the soul and we all deserve to fill our spirits with joy each day!
Forgot to mention in my last note about the new competion---I'm praying for a miracle and the Fed Ex man to deliver a package to our casa---our cat, HERMAN, is the subject of my birthday card entry---Herman is the king of the castle and he loves to play with hoops & yo yo!! I'll be waiting anxiously for the next 24 hours and so will HERMIE---the most photogenic cat in America!! Meowy Valentine's DAY!
Good catch lala. Have you guys tried logging into the the finalist confirmation???
I logged in using the email address and password I had used when I entered the contest. It recognizes the email and password as valid, but unfortunate for me, it takes me to a blank page. I'm assuming the finalists actually get something on their page about confirmation when they log in.

Iam a 45 lb cat. I can't fit in a shoebox. It was hard enough for me to fit on the poker table for the birthday shot
